UX Design with V2G

I was the UX designer for the mobile game.
The challenge to create a intuitive navigation system throughout the entire game.

Main UX Goals:

  • To create an intuitive navigation system throughout the entire game
  • Allow users to freely manage strategies and entire football team on a small mobile screen
  • Create user interface and flows for users to effortlessly change their strategies in the football game

Information Architecture

I worked with the team to tweak and refined the information architecture of the application. This was the starting point of the project and we were looking at multiple ways for our users to access information at different point of the game

Wireframes

I was working on wireframes and working closely with the game designers and producers to provided user flow suggestions and tweaks so players would be able to access specific information they need at different touchpoints.

One of the biggest challenges is also to ensure that each of the interactive elements on the screen would not be too cluttered since players are allowed to manage their entire football team on the small mobile screen.

Interactions

Due to copyright restrictions, any UI element and stats were not allowed to cover any part of a football player's photo.

This was a very fun challenge for the team since we want to provide player stats for all football players on the team while making sure each of the players were actually of the photos were interactive elements as well.

nTrust

I conducted quick usability tests and iterate the wireframes with friends and family to identify any usability or readability problems. Although I was responsible for the wireframes and not the UI, It was very important to document how each elements should be positioned as well as how they interact in the design specs for the UI artists
